2. Data Processed

In the course of the recruitment process, we process the following personal data that you provide to us as part of your application:

• Contact details (surname, first name, address, e-mail address, telephone number)
• Curriculum vitae and professional background
• Cover letter and statement of motivation
• References, certificates and other evidence of qualifications
• Salary expectations and availability, where provided by you
• Any other information you voluntarily provide in the context of your application

We ask that you do not include special categories of personal data in your application (e.g. health data, information on religious affiliation or political beliefs) unless these are expressly required for the recruitment process.

3. Purpose of Processing

Your data will be used exclusively to conduct the recruitment process and to assess your suitability for the advertised position or the role you are seeking at Adams Strategy GmbH & Co. KG. Your data will not be used for any other purposes unless you have given your express consent.

5. Retention Period

Your application documents will be retained for a period of 6 months following the conclusion of the recruitment process — in the event of rejection, from the date on which the rejection letter was sent. After this period, your data will be deleted completely and irreversibly, unless statutory retention obligations preclude this and you have not consented to longer retention.

The six-month retention period serves to protect the legitimate interests of Adams Strategy, in particular to defend against potential claims under the German General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

In the event of appointment, your application data will be transferred to your personnel file and retained in accordance with the retention periods applicable to the employment relationship.

6. Talent Pool

If we do not currently have a suitable position for you but your application has impressed us, we may ask whether we may retain your data in our talent pool for future vacancies. Inclusion in the talent pool takes place exclusively with your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

If you consent, we will retain your data in the talent pool for a maximum period of 2 years. You may withdraw your consent at any time without giving reasons, with effect for the future. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

7. Recipients of Your Data

Your application data will not generally be disclosed to third parties. Internally, your data will only be shared with those individuals involved in the recruitment process, in particular:

• Members of the management team
• The line manager responsible for the position to be filled

Your data will not be shared with external third parties — such as recruitment agencies, job boards or other service providers — without your express consent. Where we engage technical service providers (e.g. e-mail hosting), they are contractually bound to confidentiality and may only process your data on our instructions.
